Virtual CFO, Canberra

A CFO in your corner.

Senior financial leadership without a full-time salary. Led by Ezio Senatore FCA, and built on books we keep every week.

Advice is only as good as the numbers under it.

Most CFO advice starts with weeks of cleaning up the numbers. Ours doesn’t. The Keep team already looks after your books every week, so the advice starts from numbers you can trust.

What Keep does

The numbers, turned into decisions.

What’s included, and how often, depends on the package we agree. This is the full service.

  • Monthly reporting and review.

Built on your weekly numbers, and talked through with you each month.

  • Cash flow forecasts.

What’s coming in and going out over the weeks ahead, so there are no surprises.

  • Budgets and KPIs.

Targets that make sense for your business, tracked every month.

  • Pricing and margins.

What each product or service really earns, and where the margin goes.

  • Wage-cost analysis.

Labour against sales, so rosters match the work.

  • Buying or selling a business.

Financial due diligence before you sign, so you know what you’re getting.

How it works

From first call to first meeting.

  1. Talk.

We start with where the business is and where you want it to be.

  2. Set up.

If we don’t already keep your books, we get them current first.

  3. Meet monthly.

A report, a forecast and a conversation about the few numbers to watch.

Tax stays with your accountant.

Tax returns and income tax advice are provided by your accountant or registered tax agent. We work alongside them.

Spaces are limited.

We keep the number of virtual CFO clients small, so each one gets real time.

Questions.

What does a virtual CFO actually do?

Turns your numbers into decisions: forecasts, budgets, pricing and a monthly conversation about what to do next. Part-time, without a full-time salary.

Do you need to keep our books too?

Usually, yes. The service is built on books we keep every week, so the advice starts from numbers we trust.

Who provides valuations and mediation?

Ezio Senatore, through his own practice, under a separate engagement.

Do you do our tax return?

No. We’re a registered BAS agent, not a tax agent. We look after your books, payroll and BAS, and work alongside your accountant, who prepares your tax return.

What does it cost?

A fixed monthly fee, agreed before we start. Your package, and exactly what it includes, is set out in writing before we start.
