BAS agent, Canberra
BAS, without the scramble.
A registered BAS agent preparing and lodging your BAS and IAS from books we keep every week.
A BAS is only as good as the books behind it.
Most BAS mistakes start months earlier. A bill coded without GST. A pay run missing from PAYG withholding. A fuel credit claimed at last year’s rate.
Because we keep your books every week, most of the work is done before the quarter ends. What’s left is checking it.
Every period
Every figure, accounted for.
What’s included, and how often, depends on the package we agree. This is the full service.
-
GST, traced.
Every GST amount ties back to an invoice or a bill you can see.
-
PAYG withholding, matched.
Withholding agrees to your pay runs and Single Touch Payroll.

Every figure ties back to a report in Xero, and we can show you how we got there.
-
Lodged, with a heads-up.

Questions.
What’s the difference between a BAS agent and a tax agent?
A BAS agent provides BAS services: GST, PAYG withholding and instalments, fuel tax credits, Single Touch Payroll and super guarantee. A tax agent prepares income tax returns and gives income tax advice. We’re a BAS agent, and we work alongside your accountant for tax.
Monthly or quarterly?
Whichever the ATO has you on. We handle both, and instalment notices (IAS) too.
Can you talk to the ATO for us?
Yes, about your activity statements. As your registered BAS agent we can deal with the ATO on BAS matters for you.
We’re behind on lodgements. Can you help?
Yes. We bring the books up to date first, then lodge the outstanding periods.
What does it cost?
A fixed fee, agreed before we start. Your package, and exactly what it includes, is set out in writing before we start.
